Renaissance Wax

This is an excellent product. It is used as a surface protection on many valuable items and used extensively by the British Museum. I put a very thin coating on my sterling silver jewellery once it has been completely finished to reduce the tarnishing process. I first started using it about 6 months ago and the silver has not tarnished at all. I can't say for sure how long it will prolong the tarnishing process but I'm very impressed with it so far.

Finding a supplier in Australia was very difficult, but I did locate one, although in saying that I would now go directly through the U.S. as I really paid a much higher price than I should have but I was in a hurry at the time. There are many suppliers in the U.S. but here is a link to one I had bookmarked at a very good price. Conservation Resources have it available at $20.00 for a 200 ml tin, I paid about $35.00 here from memory, if you would like to know the distributor just email and I'll give you the details.
