I have a lovely HUGE studio which was once a boat building shed, so that may give you an idea of the size. It has a lot of ventilation which is a must when lampworking. The walls are laden with glass racks, and I have all my strips of glass around me at hands reach. My annealing kiln is situated next to my work area so I can quickly put each lampwork bead in as I make them. My bench has a stainless steel surface to prevent burning from hot falling glass. My torch is connected to a lpg gas bottle and an oxygen concentrator.

I know, it's certainly not flashy looking, but I love my shed studio. This is where I spend most of my life!

My beloved bethlehem pirahna torch with my great didymium shield which stops any harmful rays from the flame damaging my eyes

A view of some of my glass racks, and little 'ol me with some of my glass strips that I work with.

There's a few things I couldn't live without, and high on that list would have to be my faithful old kiln. Isn't she a beauty? No, I don't have any fancy digital controls, I like doing things the old fashioned way!
Would you like to have a brief glimpse at my home studio?
You won't find any flashy interior design work I'm afraid, it's messy just the way I like it!
